I'm in open water struggling to swim near the Halmahera Sea
And just as I'm pulled down by my weight you lend me sweet reprieve

One evening in this room we lace our hands and I listen to you breathe
We hum over the gloom, i feel so still when you wrap yourself ‘round me

In the early morning we feel the rising sun pour onto our bed
revealing specters of some past life hanging over our heads
